We were pleased to host local car enthusiasts on Sunday 1st September for our first Octane & Caffeine event.
If you missed this mini car show, you missed out on a super fun day. No competition…just a bunch of motorheads with their families hanging out, talking about cars, looking at cars, eating some burgers, hotdogs and jerk and drinking some ice-cold beer. It doesn’t get much better than that on a scorching hot day does it? Even the kids had fun with the cool inflatables we set up for them. Shout out to Cory McGee for the great inflatables and our partners at Tortuga Rum and Coca-Cola for the support!
We had over 50 cars and a couple of cool bikes on display throughout the day, including a row of classic and modern Minis courtesy of the Mini Club and a few other owners. These were definitely crowd favourites. Other showstoppers were a pristine 2009 Mercedes Benz SL65, a restored 1941 Chevy truck, a rugged Jeep Rubicon, and a Polaris Slingshot that looks like something from the future. Also on show was Tony’s personal collection of Honda Civics dating from 1997 to 2001 and a 2019 Nissan Kicks very similar to the 2020 model that we are giving away as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations.
Check out our photos from the Octane & Caffeine car show and tell us which one is your favourite!
